I always look forward to these reflections because they give me a moment to pause, breathe, and connect with you on a more meaningful level.
I’ll be honest, I too am guilty of not always being fully present in a world filled with constant distractions. That’s why I’m intentionally working on it by limiting my time on social media and even turning my phone off on certain days to truly practice presence.
This week, I’ve been thinking about the power of presence. Not just showing up, but being truly present with intention and grace.
💫 Presence brings so much richness to any moment, and it’s at the heart of what I do. Whether it’s guiding a bride down the aisle, sharing a quiet moment with anxious parents, or celebrating the laughter of close friends during a reception cocktail, those intentional pauses, no matter how fleeting, are where magic lives.
I was reminded of this at a recent dinner with dear friends. We all rushed to catch up, but at that table, without distractions, our conversation deepened, the stories flowed, and we all felt seen. It made me smile because that kind of presence is exactly what I strive to create at Marshecka Weddings, not just orchestrating events but crafting moments where every person feels seen, celebrated, and deeply connected.
