For me, Mondays are about connection, a chance for you to see who I am beyond weddings and events. As much as I live and breathe weddings and events, my creativity is nurtured in the spaces outside of my work. Inspiration doesn’t come from sitting still, it comes from the world around me.
Travel
Travel has always been one of my greatest sources of inspiration. Whether I’m strolling through the cobblestone streets of Europe, enjoying the vibrancy of Cape Town, or discovering hidden gems here in California, I find myself noticing details, the textures, the colors, the architecture. These experiences quietly influence the way I approach design, adding layers of richness to the celebrations I create.
Fall Colors
Another deep love of mine? Fall. The richness of the season, amber leaves, deep burgundy tones, golden sunsets, always inspires me to lean into palettes that feel both warm and opulent. There’s something about the season’s natural abundance that translates beautifully into weddings: tablescapes with depth, florals with richness, and spaces that feel inviting and elevated.
Fashion
And then there’s fashion. I’ve always been drawn to timeless, sophisticated pieces, like Anne Fontaine collection. Fashion, to me, is design in motion. The tailoring, the textures, and the way a piece makes you feel all tie directly into how I design events. Just as an outfit tells a story of personality and presence, so does a celebration.
Closing Reflection
What I love most is how these passions overlap. When I’m planning and designing, I’m not pulling from just one place, I’m weaving together the colors of fall, the elegance of fashion, and the inspiration of travel to create experiences that feel intentional and deeply personal.
Because in the end, weddings are more than timelines and logistics. They’re stories, and every story is richer when inspired by the beauty of life beyond the aisle.
