Moments with Marshecka: A Chance Encounter, A Lasting Lesson

Some moments arrive quietly, without planning, but leave a mark you carry for years.

Three years ago, while on a family vacation, I had the unexpected joy of crossing paths with someone whose words had supported me through both business and personal growth: @MarieForleo.

I had followed her for years. Her “Everything is Figureoutable” philosophy had become a quiet compass for me, one I returned to often while building Marshecka Events. Her teachings helped me stay grounded when things felt uncertain and reminded me that clarity, creativity, and consistency were always within reach.

When I saw her, I asked for a photo.
Then realized… I didn’t have my phone 😩

Without hesitation, she offered to take the photo on hers, asked for my info, and said she’d send it to me.

And she did.

That simple act of kindness stayed with me. Not because it was “a moment with someone famous,” but because it reflected something much deeper, the kind of woman she is. Present. Kind. Generous. True to her words.

I’ve kept the photo as a quiet reminder:

➤ Lead with grace
➤ Build with clarity
➤ Be the kind of woman who shares the moment

Even now, I’m still walking those lessons, through the way I serve my clients, grow my team, and build this legacy brand with intention.

This wasn’t just a moment I wanted to remember, it was a moment that helped shape how I want to lead.

Thank you, Marie. For your teachings, your presence, and your kindness in the smallest, most sincere way.

Until the next moment,

Marshecka ✨
